Nautilus P-1 Winterizing question
I will be winterizing our 2021 Reflection 315RLTS in few weeks and have a concern. After reading the owners manual, two calls to GD customer service, and several You-Tube videos....I'm still concerned about getting all the water out of the lines that fill and draw from the fresh water tank. In the P-1 instructions, the black diverter valve is always in the closed position while using compressed air and antifreeze. GD customer service was no help, and customer service at B&B Molder has not returned my calls. Has anyone opened the black diverter valve while blowing compressed air into the system, prior to filling the system with antifreeze? Has anyone had freezing issues in these lines, after following the instructions as printed in the manual? What am I missing? What part of the process removes water from theses lines? Appreciate any tips and/or assurances that those lines will not freeze if instructions are followed. Thanks.

Why don't you open the dump valve to empty the fresh tank and then run the pump (in the Dry Camping setting) until the lines are clear? When we used to winterize, I used compressed air and blew all the lines instead of using antifreeze (still used antifreeze in the P-traps and toilet). You could go that route with the system set for filling the fresh tank.

Nautilus P-1 Winterizing question
We do this. When I first bought our trailer I was freaking out regarding winterization. Where I keep my trailer today is very different from where I stored my previous mh. My home in one part of SoCal never or rarely sees freezing temps so I never had to worry about it. Fast forward to my current rig. It’s location in my desert home sees super hot summers and freezing winters, so I need to be proactive to protect it. I drain all the fresh water and blow out the lines. This will be the third winter I do this. We have had no issues so far, I hate the pink stuff. I do have 3 gallons should I ever need it, but so far so good. When using the air pressure take care with the anti-siphon valve right at the inlet.

If you follow the directions in the owners manual step by step you will not have anything to worry about. Just don't forget to run antifreeze to the washer and dryer hook ups in the bedroom closet.
