Hair coloring dye in shower
Hello,
My girlfriend wants to know if using hair coloring dye in the shower is OK for the plumbing pipes/system?
Thanks!

Pipes should be ok but I'd be worried it staining the tub since its some sort of plastic. Not really it would or wouldn't though. Not really a helpfull answer.

Dye is harmless for the pipes, but some dyes can stain the shower stall and shower door. I am told that usually hair color can be bleached out with peroxide type bleach.
The OP should give it a try and get back to us. I know I am not trying it.Doug, Patti and our puppy Leo are from upstate NY.
