Playing TV through Stereo System

Is there a way to play the TV though the speaker system on my 29RS? I use Directv and would like to play the music channels when sitting outside. Any help will be appreciated.

There should be a headphone output on the TV (not always). Connect that to the aux input of the stereo. Kind of a kludge, but should work.

Ours is wired as Keith describes, but since the headphone output is so low, we have to crank the Furrion volume up to 30 and this gives us reasonable volume range with the TV remote. The sound is actually better than you would expect it to be through this odd way of connecting. I think they chose to do it this way because plugging in the "headphone" jack disables the speakers in the TV.

i have dish net i used a patch cord to hook up to audio out jacks on the back of my receiver then to the aux port on the radio if you have the audio out jacks on your receiver this should work just set radio to aux mode

Awesome I have only seen pictures in the gallery never in person and was wondering if there were outdoor speakers because I have not been able to find them in the pics . If someone has time can you take a pic and post it would love to see it. Also does the outdoor TV have a swing arm so you can sit under the awning and still see the TV? I have put a deposit down on the 29 rs 2015 model but can't pick it up for another week and a half. Thanks for the info!!

I haven't looked to see where the TV audio out is connected but I'm assuming mine are connected via RCA jacks. I just set my stereo to aux and it's there plenty loud enough however the sound out of the TV is fixed so raising the volume on the TV raises only the TV speakers and the stereo volume controls what is coming out of those speakers. Work pretty well letting me balance the TV and what's coming from the ceiling to have a pseudo surround.

The Coach, No, the outdoor TV is on a stationary mount, however I am sure you could take it off and place it on a swing out mount. I will try to post a pic of the speakers, but they are right on the end of each arm. I like that feature as I was always afraid I would get water in the ones on our older 5th wheel. So far, we love our 29RS, we just bought it in April.
