main awning attachment to side?
My main awning seems to roll up and pulls the arms towards the rear of the rig slightly. Thought I could just remove a screw to get it to read center like doing the slide toppers. I did not see a screw? I tried running some lubricant to get it to move on its own....am I missing anything?

Maybe the screw is lost. Try re adjusting and replace the lost screw. The awning paperwork may have the size or call who ever made the awning to find the correct size

You should have two screws, one on each end of the fabric track. The screws would go through the track and the poly cord in the awning fabric. If you don't have any screws then that is why your awning is rolling up crooked. As for adjusting the fabric - you would need to extend the awning and probably with a helper pull and push the awning in the direction it needs to go. Moving an already installed awning can take some pretty good tugging and pushing to get it to slide in the track. They typically DO NOT slide easily like a topper might. You may want to spray some silicone lubricant into the track as best you can on the underside and topside (get on the roof). That should help the awning slid a little easier in the track.
The Lippert documentation states a #6 x 1/2" hex head screw.
"Secure the fabric in the awning rail no more than 1” inside the edge of the fabric on both ends using
a #6 x 1/2” hex head screw. Install the screw down through the awning rail into the fabric and the
polycord (Fig. 12). "

Most likely the head popped off the screw. Take some time to look closely and see if you can find trace of it. I'd imagine your year has a Carefree awning on it, but still a #6 self-tapping screw. Use baby shampoo or Dawn with water as you lubricant to avoid dealing with the residual or staining.

FWIW. This is on my 2021 303RLS. My awning is rolling up crooked. I looked for screws in the track to remove so that the awning could be adjusted. I found one screw about a foot in from one end. It looks like it was inserted from the bottom and the head was broken off. The end sticks up about 1/2" above the track. Now I have to figure out how to back that screw out. The other track doesn't have any screws in it.

Well I could see the screw threads sticking up but could not see the head. They put screw in through the fabric btw.
I decided to put a screwdriver where the head should be, but ot seen, and low and behold it backed out! Lol
I centered it and went on the other end of the awning and ran the screw in through the nylon core. 1st full day in my winter destination and I am beat! LOL I also replaced a fireplace (another thread and work).Jim and Belinda H. Pa.

On closer examination I discovered the same thing. The screw had been run in from the bottom too far and the head disappeared. After digging around I was also able to back the screw out. After adjusting the awning I installed two screws from the top of the track about 1" in from each end.
