New Furrion 16 cf 12v refrigerator
Hello,
Does anyone have any technical information about the new Furrion 16 cf refrigerator that is now standard on new 2022 Reflection units?
I am looking for energy consumption information.

I wasn't able to find a 16 ft3 fridge, but I did find the 10 ft3 model for reference.
They rate the 10 ft3 fridge at 11A. This will cycle on and off, and depending on MANY factors, this on/off cycle can vary a lot (outside temp, inside temp, installed in a slide or not, how often it is opened, etc.).
Using their rating system, they specify a 1.08kWh / day, or the equivalent of roughly 90 amp hours.
I converted my Norcold 18 ft3 fridge to a 12v compressor cooling unit (Very glad I did that).
My current draw when the compressor is on is also roughly 11A, maybe slightly less.
They estimate an approximate 64% duty cycle; again, this can vary a LOT!
When running mine, it will be 100% duty cycle when first cooling down. Takes a bit for everything to cool down, but consuming roughly 100 amp hours during the initial cooling process.
From there the usage is less.
I have a capacity of 200 amp hours. If I cool the fridge before leaving on a trip, plugged into shore power, at a 65% duty cycle I can run the fridge for roughly 27 hours on my batteries, without consideration for other power draws.
Your mileage may vary!2018 Solitude 344gk
