    I drilled hole in latch and add a pin to place through hole.

    Another good idea! Very simple, looks like it would work well and I wouldn't have to drill holes in the doors. I'll bet drilling that hole was a pain though, how did you manage it? Thanks

    Drill hole for pin

    Wasn’t hard, removed latch from door and clamped rod in vise. Drilled with new bit and drill press. Latch wasn’t to hardened metal. New bit did the work with a little oil. Make sure you use a punch and give yourself a starting point.

    I believe that is the way I'm going, just something to slightly secure the doors. I hate the idea of drilling holes in the door and adding stuff.

    Also makes for easy quick egress in an emergency - unlike a lock - finding key.
