Slide Out Question Solitude 2930RL S-Class

I have a 2021 Solitude 2930RL S-Class and have a question on the rear slides. When I open the ODS Slide the bottom goes out first and then the top side catches up with the bottom . Going in it does the same thing the bottom goes in first and then the top section catches up and closes 1st and then the bottom goes in. The bottom is about a 1/2 or 1 inch behind. The door side slide works about the same but when it closes the top closes and then the bottom comes up and stops. Both slides fit well and no problem. It has been that way since I bought it. Close to a year. Its not a big deal just curious if this is normal. Seems to work okay.

Jim, its probably normal. Ours is kind of like that but On ours when opening, the bottom comes out first then the top catches up, then the bottom gets a little ahead of the top again. When closing the top gets in first and then the bottom closes last. They usually titter back and forth, top to bottom a little while moving. I just check to make sure the slide fully closes straight and seals. It kind of all makes sense since the motors and gearing /tracks are bolted to the bottom of the slide when driving the slide in and out. This is on the rack slides.

The rams are at the bottom of the slides, so it's normal for the bottoms to move first both directions. That's been the case with the electric slides in our Reflection and the hydraulic slides in our Solitude. The Schwintek bed slides are different - they have a rack and pinion at all four corners.
