So far I've been impressed with Cooper Discoverer AT3 xlt tires. They are a 60,000 mile tire, great traction on gravel, mud and snow and very little noise on the interstate.

I’m using Nitto Terra Grapplers. They are an XL rated all terrain tire so maybe not what you are wanting for a 2wd truck. So far I really like them. A little stiffer than a standard P tire but not as bad as a LT tire.

What's wrong with your Michelins? How do they perform? Michelin tires usually get good ratings.

I have 40K on a set of Michelins and it's hard to see tread wear. I have Cooper LTs on my trailer and they seem to be doing well.

I love my Michelin Defender LTX M/S on my 2018 Silverado. They helped tremendously with some of the sway I was having while towing. They are wearing very well (rotating they every 5,000 miles) and also are great in the snow. I have almost 25,000 miles on them and would guess I have at least 50% tread left.

Nothing wrong with the Michelins. Just like to check what’s available now.
