Debris coming out of furnace vents

Looking for help as to what may be happening. Running the furnace on our new 2021 Reflection 315RLTS this last week. Debris has been coming out of the vents. It appears to be small black flecks. Best described as "paint flecks". Very thin and brittle. They do not smear when rubbed between fingers. Haven't had time yet to open up furnace area to investigate....spent yesterday tracking down and fixing plumbing issue....whole other story. Any insight appreciated.

    Thank you

My guess is that it would be some type of construction debris. Stuff that got into the duct work either before installation or during installation.

Agree, just debris. After stuff blew out of our vents I just removed them all and stuck our vacuum wand in every vent hole as far is it would go. Saved lots of ongoing cleanup and I was surprised at how much came out in the vacuum.
