That fitting on the end of the fridge drain hose
Hi all - I've seen it mentioned many times before, yet I just noticed there's no small fitting inserted into the end of my fridge drain hose. I found on Amazon what appears to be an entire hose with the insert however I'm wondering what exactly that cap is? I can't tell for certain from the Amazon image, but it looks like just a plug with a small hole. Seems like something that's pretty simple to make. Can anyone please share or describe what this plug actually looks like up close? Thanks!

You got it in one, it's just a small plug with a hole. It allows the water to drain out of the hose, but keeps insects from climbing up the hose and making themselves at home.
