Furnace ducting... How's it supposed to be?

    ***Long Version***
So, I was hanging out in the camper with my son just now and it was in the fifties inside when we got in. I fired up the furnace since we hadn't used it in forever just to see if it still worked. It warmed up the camper, but I noticed that the register under the TV had almost no flow and the upper register in the bedroom (there's two, one about 18" above the other on the wall) was deforming from the heat. I pulled the vent out from the wall under the TV (2" duct) and it was hooked up. I could also see a 4" going into the belly.

When we first got the camper years ago, I noticed that upper vent in the bedroom wasn't connected to anything and there was an unconnected duct behind the cabinets in the kitchen (where the furnace is) so I assumed it was supposed to be connected and fixed it. I live in FL, so we don't get much use out of the furnace, but the bedroom has always been hotter than ... it should be... and I figured that vent was supposed to go somewhere else.

    ***TL;DR***
The rig is a '19 2600RB and wondered if anyone knows exactly how the furnace vents are supposed to be hooked up.

Assuming it's similar to my 2800bh, the upper vent in the bedroom should be an unconnected cold air return, the bottom one is heat.

Interesting. I wonder what that other duct is supposed to connect to.

It doesn't connect to anything, it just helps to facilitate air movement. There isn't any dedicated ductwork for the cold air return.

No, I meant the hose I connected to that outlet on the furnace... I wonder what it was supposed to be doing. I found it dangling when I hooked it up years ago.

It's currently hooked up like this...
    1. Bottom bedroom
    2. Top bedroom (I connected it and will un hook it from the register)
    3. Register under the kitchen sink.
    4. Heads off behind fridge to the TV/bathroom (very low output at either location)

There is a hole in the floor that looks like it's would fit a duct to heat the underbelly, but thought that was done by the bathroom branch.

I guess I'll email GD and see if they reply.Click image for larger version.

OK, looks to be the same as my 2800bh. I reworked my whole system this spring.
#2 does heat the underbelly through the hole in the floor. #4 goes to the TV and the bathroom, however it splits and ends up being 2" under the TV and 2" in the bath. On my 2800 it was totally inadequate.
You've probably noticed that there is an unused knockout in the heater plenum between hose #2 & #3 . I added a 4" duct there and ran it to the TV duct. I then unhooked the duct that came out on the side of my sink, your #3 , which blows directly at my thermostat on the 2800bh, and rerouted the hose & brought it out under the stove. I also put an adjustable vent on the bedroom heat duct to lower the heat flow there.
This greatly improved the heat efficiency and the increased air flow eliminated the short cycling that had been present in my furnace.
