Great now Thor is buying up suppliers, wonder if they will still sell to other manufactures? May be now is the time for GD to go to split system ACs. Truma makes a very nice furnace and water heater combination. Brother in-law has one in his rig (SOB=Some other brand) and loves it.

I'm pretty confident they will take care of the family and any extra capacity would be provided for others.

We still have Furrion and Dometic. Maybe Carrier who's get back in the game. I have a Carrier unit on my vintage airstream.

I think the split systems would be a very good option. It is certainly doable and could be incorporated into the design so you wouldn't even know it was there. IMHO
