MORryde Booked through 2022!

Contacted MORryde about doing an independent suspension and disc brake upgrade to my 380FL. Not in any hurry but did not expect them to be booked solid for calendar year 2022 and are scheduling into 2023! They only have Elkhart and Grants Pass, OR that are authorized to do the IS upgrade. Guess I will just focus on the 8K axle and disc brake upgrades.

Did check with GD and they won't do the 8K axle or the brake conversion.

I have an October 2022 appointment. While I would liked to have had one sooner I've made plans around making that trip so I'm sticking with it.

A friend who made and appointment after me was told it would be January 2023 before he could get his done. Now I hear he is going there in June. I am pretty sure he kept calling MorRyde and asked to be on a standby list so maybe it worked out for him. I'll confirm this soon with him as he is suppose to be back here in a week or two.

You may want to check back. I scheduled s January 2022 appointment for IS/ Disc upgrade a couple weeks ago. They told me they had opened another service bay for the conversion work

Wish they told me they were planning to do that when I tried. Already scheduled the disc brake and axle upgrade with Performance Trailer Braking. They are coming to me in mid-April so works good. Would have liked the IS but not a show stopper.

As of now two axle, $8,900.00 if raw materials don’t spike upwards.

Holy smokes!!! 7K or 8K? That's a heck of an increase from 2 years ago, but they have been non-stop with aftermarket and OE installs.

The quote I got back in October for the tandem IS 8K axle and disc brake upgrade was $8599 from Morryde.

Just as a measure of how quickly and how much prices have increased, the 7K installation (with disc brakes, etc.) on our Solitude performed in January, 2020, was $6,640.10 including tax (with a 10% "winter discount"). The timing was fortuitous... we moved into our new Solitude the week before everything started shutting down for the pandemic.
