2016 Reflection 29RS Recliners Shredding Apart??

We have the above mentioned recliners, and the vinyl is shredding off in pieces. Has anyone else had this and is there any recourse with Grand Design?

The "pleather" peeling is well known. The only recourse via GD (really Thomas Payne) is a percentage off a new one, if it happens within the first year. On a 2016 model I doubt there's much recourse.

Most of us just either totally replaced with a brand we like better, or use covers.

Yep, what they said... we just replaced our peeling sofa. Lippert has gone away fron the bonded leather and now use a heavy vynil. If you call they will likely offer a small discount.
We took the gamble and chanced it with the new vynil sofa at the rally because they offered a big discount that is not usually available to us who own older GD units and also there is now a 5 year warranty.

So far it seems much sturdier and more firm to sit on than the old peeling sofa.
