Do you winterize water lines with RV antifreeze or compressed air?

With my boat and previous truck camper I always used compressed air to clear the water lines and never had an issue.

Usually both! But last year and now this, I'll have to do it in campground without a compressor, so it will be just antifreeze (the -75 stuff!).

I blow the lines with compressed air, then antifreeze then blow again. Just an added safety measure as antifreeze can mix with water and lower the freeze protection. Added benefits to that extra step usvit makes dewinterising quicker

Once I started using compressed air (~35psi) to purge water lines on my boat and truck camper I never used antifreeze in the water lines or fresh water tank making sure it was completely drained. I will pour some antifreeze in the sink drains and toilet after I make sure the holding tanks and empty.

I am in the same boat (see what I did there?). Air only plus antifreeze in the drains only.

I do only antifreeze here. Quick and easy process; my biggest consideration is that I store on a lot with no power. I run a rinse cycle on the washing machine to pump antifreeze through it. Means I need to winterize as I pack up from my final trip of the season while still hooked up to shore power. Don't have an icemaker in the fridge, so that is not on my list.

I have a water heater with an anode rod, so when I drain it, this serves as my annual check of that. It is the only time I drain my heater.

I guess it is worth noting that I store in Raleigh, NC; so we do see some freezing temps, but not the most extreme of environments.
