    Smart tile backsplash

    Hello all

We are thinking about installing Smart Tiles in the kitchen of our 303.
I was wondering what color tile did you use if you did this.
We have ordered a sample but not 100% sure this is the one to use.
Colors on the computer are not like having the real thing.
Thanks for your input. Happy camping

Hey Andy! I decorate our family room and kitchen area in browns and blues so these were perfect for us. The best thing was I got them on the Smart Tile site for $2.99 each! Very inexpensive. I have also tiles the bathroom with another color and just love both areas. Adds a lot of personality to both areas!
Good luck! They are very easy to install and seem to hold up very well!

    Amy and Andy,
The difference is the Smart tiles are silicone, not glass, which doesn't add any more weight to your coach. Plus they are self sticking and you just cut them to fit with scissors or straight edge. You can't tell they aren't reall glass until you touch them! You can also buy a couple of the color patterns at Lowes or Home Depot. Smarttile.com or wayfair.com have the biggest selection to choose from.

It is called "Maya" if you go to thesmarttiles.com and at the top of the page labelled "deals" you will find it there. It is still only $2.99 a sheet which is a steal!

We just did ours in Bellagio, looks great. Bad thing was buying them through Home Depot at $38/6 pack. They look great, a little tough getting around the faucet. If you can find a better price direct, go for it elsewhere.

    Sandi,
Did you remove the old paper or did you just tile right over what was there? How well did the adhesive stick?

    Hey Marlene!
We did our bathroom in the Bellagio also! No --just slapped them right on over the wallpaper. I did wipe it down good and let it dry first. In the kitchen I used TSP to wipe down that plastic backsplash so there wouldn't be any issues there. They went on great and have stayed on even better!
