2021 Furrion water heater not working

My friend just bought a 2021 337RLS exactly like mine. When I was looking at it with him today, I went to show him how the tankless water heater works. The round control panel mounted on the bathroom is dead. Won’t turn on, no lights, etc. I checked the breaker and it was on. Any idea on what to check? Thanks

Did you check the switch inside the water heater that turns on the system?

That’s probably it, I’ll have him check that. Thanks!

Also, they are 12 volt powered, so look for a blown fuse, not breaker.

Just for info of those who have the Furrion,I had a problem with ours first. Worked great when hooked to city water but when dry camping on the water pump it was intermittent and would throw an E1 code on the thermostat and shut down. Dealership checked it out and the pressure in the water pump was too low so the heater would shut down.

I have a new 260 Rd.. But on mine... The "flame" on the furrion bathroom panel is out and no hot water. All the other features will illuminate. No idea what to do?

Not in our trailer, but in our lake home (with a multi home shared well water pressure) our tankless water heater will sometimes throw codes when drawing cold water from our incomming well house line. We solved this by restricting the cold water line (in our house for cold only usage) to keep more pressure on the hot water tank cold water line feed.

Maybe some form of this might work for boondocked water heater usage of stored water.

I have to give kudos to my wife...you were right too. My wife found a thread and you have to leave the cold off completely and then the hot water will start. Not obvious and even the manual is not real clear. Thanks for your help.

12 volt on demand heaters...How many amps do they pull?
The A/c on demand heaters I have wired have all had 50 amp plus breakers. That would be ridiculous amperage at 12 volts....

The water is heated by propane only, not electricity. The electronics would be 12V, so I don't think there is much draw. Will check tomorrow when we have showers.
It uses a fair bit of water to heat initially, as you have to turn the hot water tap on ONLY which ignites the flame to heat the water. Might be a problem when boondocking, since water is at a premium!!! We filled a small pan which is about the size of the sink before the water got hot? Navy showers with water on and off...another test tomorrow as we are boondocking.

    Will keep you posted
