    USA land border opens 8 november for non essential travel

    Well….finally the USA got its act together and will be opening their land borders on 8 November 2021 for non essential travel.
    People crossing into the USA must show proof of vaccination. However upon returning to Canada you must take a molecular test in the United States within 72 hours of your planned entry into Canada.

    Question to Canadian Snowbirds?

    How many will be traveling South to the warmer climates of Texas,Florida,Arizona, California etc.etc this winter and investing their .80 cent Canadian dollar into the USA economy.

    I hear it will be standing room only at the Canada/USA border on the 8 November. We will be going after Christmas…even at the .80 cent Canadian dollar it beats shoveling and standing behind my snow blower at -20 c.

    Yea. The talk at Quartzsite is it will be flooded with Canadian RVers this winter. Left there last week. Ghost town now but....

    Thanks for the welcome…..I believe the closure of the Canada/USA border was mutually agreed to by both countries.

    Looking forward to getting reacquainted with our Southern friends again. It’s been far too long.
