We have a 2020 337 with the same damage on the same parts that you show in the images. The problem is lack of humidity. I see you live in Arizona. During the covid lock down we were in Elephant Butt NM and the temps got to 104+ and 10% or less humidity. All the moisture was sucked out of the trailer. We got the wrinkles like you have and the floating centers of the doors shrunk so much there was up to a 1/4” of unfinished wood exposed. After New Mexico we went the Oregon coast and sat next to the water for three months and everything rehydrated. We still have the wrinkles but not as noticeable. When we are in dry areas they are more noticeable but none of them have split open.

Hi - Thanks for replying. Do you think that you will try to get the wrinkles fixed?

Glad it worked out for the best with the door. Yes, we agree that the use of contact paper does really cheapen what is otherwise a great RV. They have had previous problems with this wrinkling, you would think that they would use a different method.

We finally took the door off and found that the wrinkling was because the door is wrapped with contact paper! We laid the door flat and took a heat gun on low temp and warmed up the wrinkles then used a roller to flatten them. When everything looked better, we let the door alone but two days later, the wrinkles reappeared. After this disappointment, we decided to leave the door off and we actually like it better that way. Gives us a bit more room at the foot of the bed and makes it easier to reach the light switch which GD installed in the middle of the wall making it hard to reach with the door in the way. Other RV's we have had used a luan type wood laminated to the door core. GD's use of contact paper really cheapens their quality in my opinion.
Have read that the floor register in the bedroom is partly responsible for issues with the bedroom door in the 295RL's. We haven't had any issues since we don't camp using our heater. Could ensure to partially close the door to keep heated air from blowing directly on it... just an idea from what complaints i have read.
