DeeMaxx vs Kodiak Disc Brake Kits

Decided to buy disc brake conversion kit for my 295RL, seems Kodiak is out of stock so they recommended DeeMaxx. Does anyone have any experience with them, good or bad?

DeeMaxx was started by a founder of Kodiak. Personally haven't seen Deemaxx is the RV community, but huge with boat trailer crowd. Only two gripes I have with Deemaxx is the caliper mounting bracket is inferior to the castings for Kodiak, and too much flex line for my liking. I know the Deemaxx stuff for lighter boat trailers used off-the-shelf car pads, but I've not seen anything for 7 or 8K axles.

Thank you for that input. I hate to stray away from a known entity such as Kodiak unless the other option is equal or better

Bill uses the same Kodiak parts as Performance Trailer Braking. Both he and PTP have been suffering getting castings as they're all made overseas.
