Tom and Kathy,
First, welcome and congrats! Excellent looking rig. This is a great site with lots of terrific people and loads of experience!
The biggest advice outside of what has already been given is to take it slow, be deliberate and enjoy!
Only get what you need, and buy stuff out of real need not just someone says this is good or needed. Absolutely subjective and you are the judge of what to use or not.
Most of all have fun and enjoy!!!
Thanks,

Sorry, it is Equa-Flex by Lippert.
Before you piece things together, if you know a good shop, I’d get tires, axles and springs all done with “flex” shackles, Moryde or lippert, all done at the same time. Not a tough job, but you are basically replacing everything below the frame. You need the tools and space.
Load light for now and enjoy. Plan ahead.Judy & Larry

Tom,
Small world. We are in Blairsville also. We are new to RV’ing and hope to have a 2670MK in about a month. I would love to know what your thoughts are on your Grand Design.

Rob, nice to meet you and wow here in Blairsville too. The GD 2670 is by far our favorite model. If we could have found one, that is what we would have bought. It offers so much and still yet it is easy to pull and priced fairly. My wife loves the idea of the island in the kitchen and of course the fireplace too. LOL
Do you have a camper now? And if so what is it?
We have a couple of trips already booked and can't wait.

Tom we don’t currently have a camper. We have a 2670MK “reserved” that should be in late Feb or early March. We have only seen video’s of it so when it gets to the dealer we will see it for the first time. I also have a 2022 Ram 1500 coming at the end of Feb. I may have a very expensive month in Feb!
