Rear Axle, Drivers-side Wheel... Leans out occasionally

My buddy took this picture while we towed home recently. He said it was like this for a while, but by the time we stopped for fuel, it was tracking straight again. Broken suspension bolt maybe?

Something broken and not right. I can't believe you haven't checked it out thoroughly yet. I don't think it's going to heal itself.

Something definetly not right there. At first thought I would say overloaded or bearing issue but if it tracked correctly when you stopped for fuel neither of those make any sense. Something is wrong there and I would investigate much deeper before I would drive too much further.

It's on the list for next weekend. It's currently parked thankfully. I'll get under it and take some picks.

I'd find it hard to believe that there isn't something obviously visible.
    Not many things to check.

With the rear looking like that in the picture, the front tire is most likely taking most of the weight of the rear tire. When you fix the issue with the rear tire, I would check the bearings on the front one to make sure no damage from the extra weight on it.

Your buddy should've called you on and had you pull over so you could crawl under and see what's causing that. Not sure how far you towed after the pic was taken but that looks dangerous.
