Good to know about the grease type Lipper uses. Lithium Complex NLGI No. 2 grease is what I use for all my trailers.

Referring to BB specifically saying no more than every 5 years, with proper maintenance, but you can't do proper maintenance (inspect a hub) without going through the repack process. Just seems like a strange wording to me.
Either way, putting a bearing buddy on an RV with EZ lube axles is putting a grease fitting on top of a grease fitting. Overkill? Maybe. But it can't hurt I guess?

You can't have two zerk fittings. If you want to install a BB on a hub that already has a zerk fitting then you must remove the original zerk fitting. In this case the only benefit in using a BB is the reserve of grease and the visual indication of grease level.

    Multipurpose #2 Lithium Grease
    Dexter Grease

Also interesting to note that Dexter sells their own version of the bearing buddy called Dexter's Trailer Buddy. Probably made by bearing buddy for Dexter.
