Ordered a 2021 Chevy express in 12/29/2020. They started production last week so may receive it in a couple of months. I was told would take 2 months from when my truck hits the assembly line. Then 2 weeks to find a transport to get it to Long Island if I am lucky.

Ordered my F-450 last week of August. Supposed to be built Christmas week. So I should see it easy to mid January.

Wait till you get some warranty work done.
ROFL, does anyone buying today really think they can get warranty work done at their dealer in anything resembling a reasonable timeframe? Pre-COVID, my dealer was at least 6 weeks out, and that was if you bought it there!

IMHO, the more important thing now is "Will GD ship me parts to fix things myself" vs warranty work. I suppose there might be some unicorn dealers out there with a staffed up shop that have some openings, but, at least in my area, most of the service departments aren't even answering the phone. They are backed up for months (maybe years, who knows?!).

It's not hard to look at the worlds situation and know that it's tough out there. When you look at things outside your door, there are bigger things to be impatient about. Really? You are impatient over 7.5 weeks? Wait till you get some warranty work done.
You should try SRAM AXIS, in stock and works amazing.

Really.......sorry I posted my trivial matter...I guess I should have posted on what's really important in the world, but I thought I was posting on a friendly RV site.

If you really think about it, it is trivial. Food, Shelter, Health, Family, those are important, the rest is trivial. Sure, they may make life more enjoyable, but they are not necessary for a life.

I have a lot of friends with different opinions. Just because this forum shares those, does not mean we are not friendly. What seems to be wrong with the world now is that we do not seem to respect people with different opinions.

If I did, then what would I do with my SR EPS11 I have now? Talk about trivial, $2.5k more for one more speed......that is just plain old stupid.

I'll remind everyone about the forum's "be nice" rule. Keep it that way so a moderator doesn't have to intervene.
