It seems the key words here are "good converter". I just don't have a lot of confidence in the OEM WFCO converters. They may be fine. Personally I changed mine out for a Progressive Dynamics, as It appears the charging pattern is more effective. If I had kept the WFCO I think I would have used a Battery Tender (or similar) trickle charger.

Admittedly WFCO are not the best. I've replaced one myself, with a Progressive Dynamics one, in the Fuzion we had before the 351.

Two minutes or less and your batteries are kept topped off and their life extended beyond the normal number of service years with no more yanking out/putting in the batteries.
I added the battery tenders fixed leads to our units battery. Then drilled a hole in the side wall going into the propane compartment. then added a rubber grommet and feed the quick connect cable through it. With a remote shore power and surge protector. Works perfect with main switch in disconnect position. What little power it does draw in the disconnect position the battery tender is able to handle without issue. Very convenient as you now connect by accessing the external propane door. Propane tanks turned off and power supply connected and turned on remotely.
