    Residential Fridge power

When we unplug from shore power I cannot get power 120 to the residential fridge.

Any suggestions on where to look first?

I suppose the first place would be the outlet where the fridge plugs in, then the circuit breaker for that outlet in the power center, then the inverter. Although, come to think of it, I guess the first step is to make sure there is enough battery power to run the inverter.

Is there a control panel for the inverter, maybe it needs to be turned on?

Sounds like an issue with the inverter power if it works while plugged into shore power. What kind/size/number of batteries, and what's their charge level?

Check to make sure inverter is turned on. Even when the remote switch is on and green the inverter can still be off. Found this out when mine was new. The remote switch was on and green but the inverter had never been turned on.

Assuming you actually have a 397TH-R with the Samsung french door fridge?

If you do, then you need to look for the inverter control board and turn it on. If that doesn't work look for the actual inverter in the pass through/underbelly and make sure it is plugged in and running. There is usually a switch on it also.

Units with residential refrigerators and inverters have a separate breaker box associated with the automatic transfer switch (not the main power panel). You need to check the breaker on that panel, make sure the inverter is turned on (power switch on the inverter or a remote switch on a plate somewhere - or both) and make sure the GFI on the inverter hasn't tripped. The GFIs on the inverters sometimes don't like to play in the same sandbox with other stuff - especially if there's another GFI outlet down the line.
