Range moving in Solitude
We just noticed today that when we open and close the kitchen side slide the top of the range moves in relation to the counter top some 2 to 3 inches. Considering we had to resupport the frig because it was bouncing around when traveling, we are perhaps concerned the the movement we are seeing in the stove may not appropriate. Have any of you noticed this and is it normal. Appreciate the feedback. Safe traveling!

Sounds like you have the insignia range oven unit as opposed to the furrion with the separate range top. That said residential stoves are normally secured in the back with anti tip hold downs and for sure going down the road it should be secured. This doesn't sound right to me and could even be dangerous depending how the propane line is run.

The Insignia stove unit should not move. Remove the bottom drawer and you should see four slotted brackets...one for each stove footpad. Sounds like yours are not properly attached or are missing. To install these brackets, the rear brackets are installed first, then the stove slides into them and then the front brackets are attached last.
The gas connection (on mine) was flexible and long enough to pull the stove out to work on anything back there.
If you have to add screws, make sure that they are not so long as to cause a problem under the slideout.
