    Standard vs upgraded Audio system

Anyone NOT upgrade to the Rockford Fosgate audio system? Curious what the standard system is. Currently have the RF upgrade, but looking at ordering a new TH and wondering what the difference is. For the $2329 price tag what do you get that you don’t get in the standard system? Can’t find any posts on this or info in GD literature. I might prefer to spend the $ on something like Sonos instead.

    Standard vs upgraded Audio system

Our 2020 Reflection came with a Furrion. Pretty crappy, but for us it’s fine. We don’t need fancy hi fidelity music. Pretty low on our list. But it is even for us, with our low priority, is crappy.

Thanks for that… I wouldn’t put the RF system in the “hi fidelity” category! Does your system have speakers in the ceiling and outside?

For 2,329.00 you can have one hell of a system put in by an Audio / Visual center.
or, get a brand name sound bar 3.1 system, $300 at Best Buy and you would be set!

$2,329 is insanity for RV sound system. All you need is a phone with quality Bluetooth speaker system.

Does that Furrion head unit have a DVD player? The RF system doesn’t have one.

Yep, I don’t think it’s a worthy upgrade. The whole system is klugey and unreliable. BT disconnects frequently, subs do nothing, and it doesn’t play well with other systems (like audio from a NAS). Waste of money better spent elsewhere.

Yes, DVD built into it, but does not work well and is NOT. Blu Ray compatible.

The Solitude comes with the RF receiver and speakers and they are garbage!
Granted, it's likely just not connected properly, but I've only been able to get the radio to work. Doesn't play the TV, doesn't connect to Bluetooth. The speakers seem okay, but I could buy them aftermarket for a $100 a pair or less, and that head unit is like a $50 piece of black tank residue. Totally agree, get a nice sound bar and save your money!
