Our driveway at home in MT is quite tricky considering at the very end I must crank it 90 deg to back it into the full hook ups.

We have an arched entry way which makes it difficult from the beginning , the steel fencing on the right side of the driveway and a double S sloped turn.

I've become very good at it, so much that our friends from Tx came this summer to visit with their 41 ft Solitude. I gave our friends the option of backing in themselves or trust me and I'd back it in. It took a couple of tries but we got it in!

Here is the obstacle course I have to run.

Every time you post pictures of your property, I start drooling. What a view

To make matters worse my side of the road has a drainage ditch with a 15" pipe under my single 12' wide driveway. The opposite side of the road has 3 mailboxes, a telephone pole, and a neighbor who throws a fit if my front tire goes off the road even 6" onto his property.
Well this is the view of my driveway entrance (about 6 years back so it has gotten tighter) and work in progress about two weeks back. And yes the neighbor next door came out 4 times to stop them from cutting and trimming trees on my property - many stories there. Right behind me is a drainage ditch - town owned.

Interesting, I was clicking on some pics posted by others and couldn't get them to open. When I click on my attachments in settings, they are all showing "In Progress". Not sure why but it says invalid attachment type (jpg). Re-attached pics and they show in preview post.

Sounds like you have your own challange. I've also taken down 5 trees to get ready. One was at the entrance of the driveway and plan on taking down several more to make it easier to back in.. Good luck and enjoy your new rig.

Wow.. Never mind the driveway what a nice place you have there and what a beautiful view. Quite the obstacle course you have and makes me feel better that anything is possible with a little determination and lots of practice. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays !

Those are some mighty big pines. What we won't do for our RV's.

To have some good lines to follow while at least getting experience, spray paint some lines on ground where trailer travelled to get up driveway. Of course this is done by stopping every three to five feet and painting lines where the driver's side trailer wheel inside edge is located. The same can also be done for truck tires but it is less helpful.

I have to locate a TT within about 6 inches side to side while turning and clearing many obstacles on the way back on both sides of trailer/truck so I just repaint the lines now and then. It cuts my parking time possibly in half.

This is what it looks like after the trees came down. That was our turkey roost - filled with turkeys all the way to the top on occasion. Plenty more pines elsewhere though.

The logs are gone now - just a couple of stumps to grind - I think I can get it down the driveway now..... Parking it without rolling downhill will be another story.

BTW, NW NJ is beautiful. Grew up on the shore in Monmouth County - another refugee but it sure was fun.
