winterizing question hot water heater
So when winterizing for the first time with our "new to us" Momentum, we set our Nautilus 1 system to the dials shown in the diagram. As the antifreeze was pumping into the line we could hear it filling in our hot water heater. How can that happen when we had our dials in the correct position for winterizing (since there is no "bypass valve" like in our old RV??)

Are you sure it was set properly? The red valve is the valve that bypasses the water heater. If the valves were correct, then the valve is either leaking or the previous owner might have made some plumbing modifications on the back side of the panel.

Yeah, if you did use the correct settings, it shouldn't fill the water heater tank, it bypasses it.
As stated above, either wrong settings, valve leaks, or previous owner tinkered with it.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com
