Thats not good news....that is my project for today...to change out that bracket.

Hope yours goes better. Mine was blowing fuses when just plugging it in before I replaced the bracket so I'm thinking something else must have been damaged in the process of testing switches where I went through about a half dozen fuses.

I just got it back together...it doesnt blow the fuse, BUT....the turntable starts to turn at a very slow speed when i close the door and the microwave wont work.
Maybe I put the switches back in the wrong place on the bracket? I know 2 of the switches are the same & the 3rd one is different by how it switches.

The wire connections dictate which switch goes where. I believe the top and bottom ones are the same and the middle one is different.

I did have the 2 bottom switches reversed. So I put them in the correct position and
It still doesn't work.
It doesn't blow the fuse, but when I close the door, the turn table rotates very slowly and the microwave won't work.
So I don't know what the issue is. We bought an extended warranty when we bought the trailer so I'll make a call to them.
I was hoping I could repair it myself so I wouldn't have to deal with the warranty company & the dealership.

We're going on a trip this weekend without a microwave ! What are we to do.....reheat food on the stove top?!!....Ooooh noooo !!

I forgot about that extended warranty! Will have to see what it covers.

Thought I would update my microwave dilemma. I couldn't get it to work properly so I called the extended warranty company and the microwave is covered with a $100 deductible.
I found an rv repair shop that that put in a claim without having to bring in the trailer. And they will install it when the microwave arrives.
Hopefully it gets done before our next trip in March.
