    Furrion Microwave removal 315 RLTS

Has anyone removed/replaced the factory furrion microwave in their 315RLTS? All the manuals talk about four screws holding it from the cabinet above the microwave but as you can see by the attached picture there is no cabinet or access to the space above the microwave.

More cabinet space is always a good thing in an RV...... Do we have a really fancy looking new cabinet now?

Take the top trim piece off of the microwave and you should see several screws driven at an angle to hold it in place.

That top trim doesn't budge. Do you pry it loose from the top or bottom? Don't want to break the plastic. The videos I've found online all show the trim piece coming loose from the top with screws holding it in place. The screws they show are underneath the trim on our rig.

I’m not sure. Hopefully someone who knows will come along.

Just pulled down on the trim with my full weight and it came loose, might be interesting to get it back in..... Found a crispy fuse in there, will replace it and see if I can figure out what is frying it.

Replaced the switches in the door assembly and it still blows the fuse when the door is opened/closed and also now when I just plug the microwave on and turn on the microwave breaker.

You probably need to replace the switch holder. There is another thread in the appliance section that discusses the holder with a link to a you tube video showing the problem.
I'm going through the same thing right now. The fuse would blow every time I shut the door.
I'd give you the link but I'm not very tech savvy.
    "Possible fix for microwave"
    It's right below your thread.

Replaced the switch bracket with the part above as well as the switches and it still blows the fuse when I plug it in. Doesn’t even give me the chance to open close the door anymore. Any other suggestions? I’m about ready to chuck it and build a shelf up there instead.
