    Water Filter

I have been trying to find a small 3 stage RO system so I can install after the fresh water tank. Ro is truly the only way to eliminate many contaminants. It seems I might have some room in the corner where the heater and water pump is in our 2400bh. You can also drain the discharged water into the kitchen drain. I’ve seen some models on demand with no tank. Has anyone done this?

Just keep in mind m, depending on the type, quality, and age of an RO system, they can produce 3 – 25 gallons of waste water per one gallon of product water.

I was going to mention the huge amount of waste water produced by most RO systems. I was going to get one for our house, but the horrible amount of wasted water shut that one down quick.

We have a 5 stage in my house that we love . I never measured the waste. We are on a shared well so it doesn’t cost more. 1 price for unlimited water. I did see one that claims no waste water but then again it doesn’t matter where are usually on hook ups anyways. I just don’t want to drink water sitting in the fresh tank even if you have a filter before it stuff starts to grows in the tank.

Well, saying waste water doesn't matter is a bit shortsighted IMO. Just because you're using someone else's water supply doesn't necessarily mean it's unlimited. Water conservation is useful regardless of where your supply originates. JMO of course, as an old school conservationist.

Water is renewable[emoji846]. We do conserve in many other way. Im sure we all don’t do everything humanly possible.
