Do you carry a ladder?
Who carries a ladder with them? I carry an xtend & climb collapsible ladder & in two years I have yet to use it. I’m thinking about pulling it out to cut some weight.
Who carries one and has actually had to use it for something that they could not have done by climbing onto the top of their RV?
Thanks

Yes, we also have a collapsible ladder. My husband has used it for washing the front/nose of our fifth wheel mostly, but also for changing out the outside speakers to lights and other things on the sides of the rig that really can't be reached easily from being on the roof. Unless you don't mind hanging over the edge to do them. He doesn't.
We have one like this:

I carry a telescoping ladder so I can clean the slide tops when parking under trees. I have a brush on the end of a painters pole for that chore.
I no longer feel safe climbing the RV ladder……that bad boy is steep and hard to get off of and on at the roof.

I carry a 6ft step ladder and use it and an extension pole to clean top of slides before closing. Try to limit walking on the roof. I also use the extension pole for washing RV.

I've always carried a ladder and use it. I cannot wash the windows on our rig without a ladder and I've also used it to do other maintenance and repair tasks. Finally, I use it every time I clean the front cap with my Wash-Wax-All kit.

I carry this folding ladder and have used it on several occasions....most recently to make a repair to the rubber seal above my slideout.
