    Just a couple updates:

    We've added the gel tiles to the bathroom wall, a popular mod here.
    Also added a hand rail for the stairs and moved the interior light switch to the wall above the MaxFan switch.
    DW is happy with it all and a happy wife means a happy life.

    Were you able to mount the handrail to something solid? The handle on mine is flimsy at best.

    Yes, both brackets are into studs.

    Don't you just love those tiles! They are so much easier to keep clean than the wall paper.
