Questions and Concerns 2016 2600rb
We just bought a used Imagine 2016 2600rb, and have some questions. It appears that this model only has brakes on one axle. For some reason I was expecting both axles wouldl have brakes. Is this a problem when driving 55-58 mph in normal conditions? As you can tell we have no exp with pulling campers.
Second questions is that I have been told that the 2016 models have 3500lb axles and they need to be replaced right away with six lug 4500lb axles. We don't plan on over loading our camper and we are normally quite conserative with our driving.
We just put new tires and packed the wheel bearings on it.
Thanks for any and all help.

You should have brakes on both axles. I'm towing a 2017 Imagine 2650 (2 slides & heavier than a 2600) and have the factory 3500# axles, no issues.

Tom and Kathy,
The springs are the issue more than the axle per se. Here's a link to our saga with our 2017 2600RB. https://www.mygrandrv.com/forum/show...php/11008-AxleJeff and Mary
