Which gooseball are you using? Curt? B&W? I have the curt so i'll give it a shot. If it's too short I'll switch to the B&W. I'm hoping for 7-8" of clearance.

Greybeard, there's a Facebook Reese Goosebox group I've been monitoring for over a year. Very good info. There's a lot of folks with shortbeds that are having success with the Goosebox...a number of Reflections in there as well.

Hi! I took it out for a short test drive couple weeks ago. Maybe 10 mile run all on 2-lane roads. I didn't get a chance to take it out on the Interstate. Very impressed with the turning radius. Even in a very tight turn, the Goosebox never got close to my tonneau rails. That was more of a concern to me than hitting the truck cab. With the Anderson, I had to make a tight turn & the release handle got into my tonneau rails & bent it badly. Fortunately, I had the shop folks at work able to repair it. So far, I'm extremely pleased...even tickled with it. We'll be taking about 1.5hr trip with it in a few weeks. I'll report back to the group when we get back. Happy Trails!
