Furnace return air vent?? 22mle

Where is the furnace return air vent? Every unit I've owned had a obvious return air vent. I guess I'm missing something. I normally try to rig a filter system.

There is a gap for the return air under one of the cabinets.

The return air is not so obvious it is in the slot where the sliding door for the bathroom goes. Completely hidden from view. We actually had it blocked with a folding clothes hamper. Luckily I had taken a panel out under the sink so that it didn't completely starve of air
