I have the BAKFlip MX4. I like it and it provides more security for stowed property.

I have an X2. I've had to replace the felt strips that hold everything together. Otherwise I like it. Keeps things dry, and when my doors are locked the bed is pretty well secured. My next truck will have an X4 because it looks like they've fixed the issues I've had with the X2.

I have the folding Bakflip too. Great cover. I had to reverse the pull handle on the Ford factory hitch to fit under it. With the 8' bed, it stows flat on the last section with the 5th wheel hitched. Provides some protection for the grandkid's bikes that ride up there.

I have been using BakFlip cover for years, I had a 2011 1500 first and then a 2016 2500, and after that I had the same one on my 2018 3500 but since I bought a 2022 with the 8" bed, I have to sale it and I'm in the process on getting one for my 8" bed.
I guess that you can say that I'm a BakFlip kind of guys, lol, thinking about the BakFlip MX4 or the UnderCover Flex.Last edited by Spartacus; 12-24-2021 at 10:22 PM.
