Found a nice closet door latch
I found a solution at the hardware store for the closet door snaps. At least one always seems to come undone while we are traveling. I can't take all the credit for it, while I was snooping around in the hardware isle for a solution, the guy at the store asked what I was trying to do, and to my surprise said why don't you try these sliding glass door locks. They work great! Only 2 screws to mount them, and I marked a drill bit with tape to be sure I only drilled about half way into the backside of the closet door.
While I was at it, I have always wanted a small handle for a screen door pull (actually a cabinet door pull). It has a brushed finish to match the other hardware and works nice for holding the door in the wind as well. The closet locks were about $7 each, and the pull was $3.Sean and Donna Duling

I did not like traveling with my closet doors open, not sure of the purpose behind the design concept. I bought a couple of nice brushed nickel drawer pulls and put them on the closet doors. I simply wrap a bungee (the one with the ball on the end) around them to keep them closed, plus we now have a convenient way to open the doors.
I really like your screen pull. I will be copying your concept.

Rob, it was very windy where we were last weekend and it was real handy to keep a grip on the door when you open it.

+1 on both. I also added door pulls to the closet door, and we have the grab bars on both of our screen doors. I love them!
