    337RLS Slide Seals ... Normal?

Question about the outside slide seals (wiper seals) on the kitchen slide of my 337...
Since that slide really does not go out that far, the outside wiper seals never "flip" over by the time the slide gets out all the way.
    They are still tucked in.

    Is this normal?
Is this a problem? Is the seals ability to keep out water less effective?

    Mike & Pat --

The same thing happens occasionally on my 337RLS. Both large slides.
I just help them a little bit when that happens. Stick a finger in there once they are out and pull the rest of the flap out the way it is supposed to be. This happened on the old Cougar I had also. I have never had the dealer look at it; it is so easy to correct on the spot.

I believe it would definitely affect the ability to keep driving rain out if they are not positioned correctly.

    Thanks Ken
That is what I have done so far.
Still trying to find something that will reach to the middle of that kitchen slide.
The slide topper will help keep water out but I would feel better if the seal would flip all the way.

Ahh. You must be talking about the flap seals on the roof of the slide.
I honestly haven't paid that much attention to those, although I generally go on the roof at least once when we are set up at
a site. I don't think I have ever noticed those seals not flipping over on their own.

I was referring to the ones on the sides of the slide-outs.

I don't use slide toppers. I have noticed that the flap seals on the slide-out roof don't always sweep away the debris and water that sometimes accumulate there. I will either climb on the roof or use a collapsible ladder to get up there and sweep them off before retracting.

I don't have an issue with any of the outer swipe seals on any the slides. Surprisingly the inner swipe seals on both of the large slides don't flip over consistently though I'm not as worried about them.

    Hello Mike,

I saw this post from some time ago. I have the same problem on our new 2021 337. How did it get resolved for you?
