I simply blow air in ours as an added precaution. Was told that it wasn't necessary as no water remains in those lines but I still blow air in it just in case. I do blow the others lines then add antifreeze and then blow again. We have harsh winters. Not uncommon to see -40 in Jan and Feb

I always pour a gallon or two into the black tank. Just because. I also blow all my air lines out with my portable 12 volt compressor (ViAir).

Just curious why you would blow the lines out after adding the antifreeze? That sort of defeats the purpose.... antifreeze is also good to keep seals from drying out and scale or crude from building up in the lines.

With our crazy winters it's just an added security i was shown. In some plumbing spots, the antifreeze might just mix with the water resulting in a lower freeze protection. By blowing out the lines it just removes some of the antifreeze. If it those freeze, it should have room for expansion. I only do this for the lines, I still leave the antifreeze in the ptrap, tanks and toilet. It also makes dewinterising a little quicker. Like I said, just an added security for our crazy Canuck winters.

I blow it out also, however also use the Nautalis water hose connected to the black flush & pump some antifreeze via the pump.

That's a great way to get some antifreeze into the black water line. I've used the pump and the shower hose at the Nautilus panel to give the black tank a couple of flushes on a few occasions when the rinse water supply at a dump station was inoperable. I never thought to do the same thing while using the winterizing feature of the Nautilus system. Hook up the outside shower hose to the black tank rinse port and open the faucet... you will then be sucking antifreeze from the jug and forcing it into the black tank via the flush line.
