I just registered for the rally at 6 pm on the dot. I could not believe how quickly the sites sold out. By 30 seconds after 6 all FHU’s were gone. All 50 amp water & honey wagon sites were gone. We were able to get a 30 amp water & honey wagon in H-30. I can deal with the 30 amp since I have 8 solar panels & 4 lithium batteries coupled with the Victron 3000 watt inverter with power boost. The system will boost amperage to allow both Ac units to run. And I have soft starts on both ac units. The solar system was very helpful last summer when we used Harvest Hosts on the days we could not get a campground site. I’m looking forward to meeting the long time Grand Design owners. We’ve been fifth wheel owners for 17 years but bought our first Solitude in April of 2021. Can any folks suggest good seminars to attend?

There are so many well done and informative seminars it's hard to pin them down. Once you get there you will have changed your mind 10 times on which to go to... take in as many as you want and be ready to take notes ! Even when you think you have a subject down, they teach you something new at the seminars.

Hi Everyone... We are looking forward to meeting everyone this year. We are brand new area hosts, so bare with us as we get our plan in place.
We would love to hear your suggestions for things you would like to have in the area!

We have a couple ideas but would love some input from prior years.

Last years rally was the first one with area hosts. It's a great idea and helps to get to know your neighbors in the section.
I think possibly find a game to encourage introduction and mingling so people get to visit and talk with those maybe an aisle or 2 over that They wouldn't otherwise meet.

The power and water lines will be ran out behind all the campers. It sounds like they suggest that you bring extra lengths of both electric cable and hose just in case. Hi Everyone.
Tentative schedule and this is subject to change...
Sunday 8/28 - App night. Almost like pot luck but bring your favorite appetizer. Best app wins a prize. Followed by a bon fire and s'mores night.
Monday 8/29 - dinner will be an Around The World pot luck. Whether it be Italian, Mexican, Chinese, etc. Let's mix it up! And it will be followed by a bon fire and Dress as Your Spouse night. Best couple wins a prize! This should be alot of fun!
We will also be doing pop up trivia for you all. Be prepared there are prizes involved and we may show up at any moment.
Would anyone be interested in a camper crawl? We would need about 5 stops and you need to be in Section L.
We will have a white board out for daily updates and we will have a large photo frame for you all to use for fun photos.

Has a schedule for the rally been announced? Also the rally dates are 8/30 through 9/2. Does that mean that we can arrive on 8/29 (& if so, how early?) & can we stay through 9/2 & leave on 9/3? I ask so I can make my before & after rally rv park reservations.

Yes you can arrive on the 29th and stay thru the weekend after, for those added days you need to contact the Elkhart County fairgrounds to pay for those extra nights.

You will still be parked by the rally volunteers in your reserved section, arriving early will not change any of that.

As for an official schedule with the seminars, I don't think that is announced until closer to the rally. But not 100% sure on how or when the new wagonmaster will set the time line.
