Options for new Ram 3500?

No way it will impact your warranty. They would have to prove that it caused the problem (Magnuson-Moss fed rule). If it caused a problem, most likely your original tank would have also, and they would deny it both ways.

I have the Titan tank on my truck, and having that extra fuel is a game changer. Couple of areas I go through, the standard tank, while enough, barely, is not a comfortable feeling.

My experience with our 2017 is very similar to yours. Mpg's between 8-9. Before our next big trip I'll be putting in a Titan 50 gallon tank.

You are going to love it, I had one install in my 2018 3500 SB but even though I didn't get a chance to tow with it I love having the option that I can tow a little farther.

We go down to Canyonville, OR to Seven Feather RV Resort and from my home to OR I have to fuel up in between well, now I don't have to, it's 386 miles to Canyonville and with my 50 gals I can go at least 670 miles, more or less it all depend on my mpg I get, so I can bypass that one gas station and just drive all the way through.

I found their site a little confusing. Seems the 50 gal is SB only but they list a 55 gal for LG and/or mega cabs.

Yes, Titan offer the 50 gals for SB and for LB 55 gals but I think that SB offer, check this website out the offer a 52 gals and a 60 gals fuel tank.

And what we do is when we need to stretch out legs we just pull over to a rest stop and use the bathroom in the rv and keep it moving.

That's OK. I prefer stopping where I want, not where I have to.

Thankfully this trip has not been too bad. Only had a day or 2 of over 300 miles in 6000 miles. So most days I did not need to fuel up with the trailer in tow. But the added cushion will be appreciated.

Does anybody know if the optional trifold tonneau cover available for either the Ram 2500 or 3500 is a hard trifold, or is it a soft? And is it decent quality or should one look at after market instead?

That's OK. I prefer stopping where I want, not where I have to.
