Need more information here. Are you looking to just replace the OEM converter? If so, for what reason(s)?

I have had 2 WFCOs, 3 Progressive Dynamics, and 1 Boondocker over the last 30years. I The WFCOs never worked correctlly. This led to battery failures. But neither of my WFCOs actually failed. They were reliable. Just reliably bad.
The one Boondocker failed after 7 years. It worked well, but was not as refined as the Progressive Dynamics...It was noticeable when it changed modes in that it actually stopped charging for a few seconds when it did so...It was sort of nice in that I knew when it was changing modes because the lights would dim briefly. It did a good job taking care of the Batteries though, and was the cheaper than the Progressive Dynamics. Of the 3 Progressive Dynamics, 1 failed after about 5 years. All three of them did a good job taking care of the batteries, and were/are very refined in operation. They also cost somewhat more. FWIW, I will never use another WFCO. If I already had a Boondocker, or it was all I could get, I would use it until it failed. My #1 choice is Progressive Dynamics.

Why do you think the converter is failing?

Progressive Dynamics, as mentioned above, are generally considered the better of the converters on the market, but offer a few different models depending on what battery type you are using.

Another vote for Progressive Dynamics. Chances are you have the WFCO 9855, which as a 55 amp converter/charger. The best way to check if the converter is working is to check the output voltage.
