Ford could care less about Curt or Blue Ox, etc. Ford say bring the front back to at least 50%. Thats all anyone needs to know when using any WDH.
Every WDH is made with one thing in mind. Weight transfer. Thats the main objective of a WDH. Sway control is secondary.

Took the TT in for some minor warranty items yesterday and they agreed that I needed to go up one set of holes on the hitch head. They're going to move them up for me while it is in for the work.

Also, based on the onboard scales function, the tongue weight is 775lb without the bars engaged and 700lbs with the bars engaged.

When I pick it back up, planning to run it across the CAT scales again and also get a curb weight of the truck since we added the bedliner and tires after purchase.

When you hit the scale you'll need 3 passes. TV and tt with bars hooked up, TV and tt with bars disengaged then finally TV alone. These 3 reading will give you all the necessary numbers required.

This is going to effect any tow vehicle/trailer combination. Nephew is in final weeks of Pennsylvania State Police Academy. They were trained in using scales under rear tires of tow vehicle and comparing the weight on axle with the rating on door sticker for rear axle max rating. They were not going to concern themselves with which truck or trailer should or should not be combined. If your rear axle is overloaded you are going to be fined and park that vehicle. Told too many RV accidents.
