    Slide outs in cold weather

I am selling my travel trailer and have buyers coming to look at it. I live in cold weather conditions. Is it safe to open and close the slide out in freezing Temps so the potential buyers can look inside?

You could trry running the furnace to warm the seals if it is below freezing. That will help with any sticking from frozen condensation.

I sold my last one in January last year. We were at -20. I wouldn’t open the slides because I was afraid they were frozen shut. I had about 8 couples come out to look at it and none said opening it was important. I sold it for a little more than I was hoping to get, but I did have to keep it on my property until the snow thawed.
