I'm with MoonShadow. I set it for around 40-45 PSI. Don't pressure it too long with your fresh water tank valve closed and your pump off. Remember, force is area * pressure. There's a lot of area in that tank so don't let it run very long with valve closed and pump off. . You should turn on your pump the second you switch the air to the tank, then turn your pump back off then very soon after close the air to "tank" back off....at least that's how I do it.

I use these on the ends of my hoses. They will allow almost every pneumatic setup and they have a shut off right there. I can turn air on and off right at the point of entry and control all the water ports right there at the same time.

Hey there, that makes a lot of sense. I appreciate the input, thanks.

A note of caution on using the "air" or "dry" method for winterization. It is safe on many, maybe even most campers. But, on our last camper, a 2016 Cougar, the owner's manual explicity stated and the RV dealer pointed out that the faucets used in that model would be damaged by compressed air. (It had something to do with their construction in the nozzle, I don't really remember).

For that reason, they both said to use the "wet" method only, which is running anti-freeze in the lines. Check your manual for details on this. Over the years, I have done both and both are pretty easy. A little more work in the Spring if you've run the antifreeze, true.
