Chins is not an off brand. It is as common as Lion. Check out Will Prowse's review of the Chins and the Ampere Time. He likes both for build fit and finish. His review of the Lion was less enthusiastic.

Ray, from Love Your RV, is running 3 or the Lion 1300s in his 5r, did a full teardown of one of them and torture test as only Ray does. He likes them. He's running a few of their products over on his site.

IIRC it was something along the lines of 'if you need to spend as little as possible, these aren't awful, but please be aware their BMS is weak"
