Just an FYI, Grand Design has a small 8 site customer RV lot with water and 50A power. A dump station is available but it's inside their gated yard... they can direct you to it if needed. If you're getting work done on your RV just call and make arrangements to stay there the night before your scheduled service... they like to get your rig inside around 6:30 am so plan on an early morning.
We took our RV in for some body work back in October and stayed in their lot for 2 nights before our service work and 1 night when they were finished. GD Customer Service Reps were very friendly, Val was who we dealt with from scheduling to parts to paying the bill. If you have time while you're in the area spend an hour or two at the RV Hall of Fame Museum... lots of interesting stuff to see there.

The only reference I have for that is the movie 'Blackhawk Down'. And those roads looked pretty rough!
Just re-watched that movie a few weeks ago

That happened in Mogadishu, the capital, where roads are pretty good. I was there 10 years earlier and in the northwest part of the country. The camp we were supporting was 45 km outside Hargeisa with what amounted to a Jeep trail between town and camp. Those vehicles took a beating! We considered this one a highway:

If you were thanking me... You're welcome!

If you want to reply to a specific person you can hit the "Reply With Quote" tab on the bottom of that person's post.... OR you could type @ followed by the person's forum name like I did to you above. Either way everyone can see to whom you are replying.
Also create yourself a signature so others at least know what year, model, length your RV is and what your tow vehicle is. That along with any other information you want to share is helpful to those that want to assist you.

Got the notification but now not seeing the signature you created. Not sure how you did it or if you saved any changes you made.
